Walnut Kernels

Walnuts are basically a protein food, containing omega-3 fatty acids, some B vitamins, vitamin E, fiber, and moderate amounts of magnesium, calcium, iron and zinc.
1. Walnuts are rich in energy but contain a variety of nutrients and fiber, such as trace elements, minerals, antioxidants and vitamins that promote good health.
2. Walnuts contain omega-3 fatty acids in high concentrations. The result of regular consumption of these fats is the decrease of LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and the increase of good HDL cholesterol.
3. The omega-3 fatty acids found in walnuts, according to research, have been found to contribute significantly to improving the mental functions of the brain, such as memory-concentration-learning ability.
4. Walnuts contain arginine, which is used by the human body to produce nitric acid, which helps maintain the flexibility of the arteries.
5. Walnuts consist of a rich source of natural substances with antioxidant activity such as melatonin, ellagic acid, vitamin E, carotenoids and polyphenols. The above ingredients have a protective effect against cancer, aging, the occurrence of inflammation and finally psychiatric disorders.
